The door must be opened using the relative emergency key, supplied in a sealed envelope with the cabinet when purchased.

Once the M.A.S. detects the break-in attempt, the alarm procedure begins. The module takes about 6 seconds to send both the attempted break-in message and the text with the coordinates of the position from which it is moved. Subsequently, if it continues to detect movements, it sends 3 intermediate text messages at about 10 minutes from each other (each send depends on the vibrations suffered).
Once the module has stopped (it does not detect vibrations), it sends the "stopped” text message after abut 4 seconds.

On the Viro security locks for up and over doors (item 8217 with integrated protected cylinder and the multi-point armour series 1.8234 and 1.8252 where the profile cylinder can be protected by a security escutcheon with anti-drill rotating plate item 806) it is possible to add the inner protection plate (item 1.4234.0465) made of cut-resistant and anti-drill, casehardened and tempered steel, which protects the lock unit, thus creating a complete kit which is able to counteract break-in attempts to a maximum extent.

It is not possible because the lock item 8271 is already supplied with a specific security escutcheon which does not have holes.

For application of this type of security escutcheon, the presence is required on the lock case of DIN through holes. If the lock is not equipped with it, use of the security escutcheon item 809 is suggested, which is also suitable for locks without DIN holes.

The maximum thickness of the door, for using the screws supplied, is 70 mm.

In order to guarantee the correct operation of the armoured locks for up and over doors series 1.8234 and 1.8252, as well as to protect the safety of users, it is not advisable to remove the internal knob.

If it is a standard Palladium cylinder, you can duplicate the keys in any centre equipped with machines for the duplication of punched keys. If instead it is a Palladium cylinder with a PV protected profile key, it is necessary to go to a Viro Authorized Duplication Centre, showing the coded property card together with an original key and providing personal details. For Palladium cylinders with a patented PB profile key, contact the retailer where the cylinder was purchased and provide the ownership card and an original key, in addition to personal details. The retailer will then request copies directly from Viro.

The protrusion of the cylinder from the outside must be at least 10 mm. and at most 15 mm. 

Depending on the thickness of the door, it is possible to use cylinders with an external side measurement of less than or greater than the 57 mm of the standard cylinder. The inner side must be at least 34 mm.

Unlike the mechanical version of the Spranga, on which cams oriented both to the right and to the left of the cylinder axis work, on the electronic Spranga, if a cylinder with an off-centre cam is used, with pull resistant function, it is necessary the use a model with the cam oriented to the left (looking at the cylinder from the inside).

For activation of the electronic Spranga locking bar it is necessary to use cylinders with a 0° Universal cam or with a 30° DIN cam facing to the left (viewed from the inside). Most of the cylinders, and all the Viro ones, have the cam oriented in this way.  

For standard use of the V09 lock the use of the electronic board supplied as standard is envisaged, in case you want to electrically connect the lock without this board, you should contact a specialized technician.

Euro-Pro cylinder keys can be duplicated in all hardware stores which perform the reversible punched key copy service. The code on the ownership card can be used to obtain duplicates, by requesting them from Viro, through a retailer, if all the keys are lost.

In order for the device to work properly, it is firstly necessary to check the GSM network coverage in the place where the product will be used. The M.A.C. will only be able to send text messages if there is network coverage.

The MAC detects the break-in attempt and starts the alarm procedure. The module takes about 6 seconds to send the attempted break-in message. The time of arrival on the phone is that of a normal text message and depends on the network and the operator used.
