EAGLE - Fastening unit for roller shutters
Easy to install and practical to use, this fastening unit for roller shutters is compact with rounded edges and pull-resistant. It is secured on top of the roller shutter jamb. The stainless steel lock bolt (Ø 21 mm) is protected by a rotating ring, resistant to attack. It is closed by turning the key (to prevent motorised roller shutters from damage) and “grabs” the roller shutter section where a hole was made. Unlike other fastening units, there are no components to position or remove every time you open or close it. Moreover, since it is not installed on the floor, it is more protected against atmospheric agents and dirt. Available in pair for installation on very wide roller shutters. Thanks to the quality of its materials and treatments, it is particularly resistant to corrosion. In case of lost or stolen keys, the cylinder can be replaced even with the EAGLE installed.
- Installation:
on the jamb (with screws and tamper-proof balls supplied) at eye level, next to the roller shutter, as near as possible. The fixed end of the dead-bolt, in closed position, must remain inside the hole made on the roller shutter and be protected from the rubber seal. This way, the rotating ring remains between the EAGLE and the roller shutter.
- Body:
Round one-piece electropolished inox stainless steel, with 4 fixing points.
- Dead-bolt:
Ø 21 mm inox stainless steel, The part between the body and the roller shutter is protected by a case-hardened, tempered and galvanised rotating ring with a special black anticorrosion treatment. Pull opening and key insertion. 23 mm projection.
- Security cylinder:
7 pins, replaceable and re-keyable, even with the fastening unit installed. It is protected by a rotating burglar-resistant and anti-drill plate, made of 4.3 mm thick case-hardened, tempered and galvanized steel with a special black anti-corrosion treatment.When the fastening unit is closed, the dead-bolt is fully housed in the body, pull-resistant.
- Keys:
supplied with 2 Viro Top Security profile nickel-plated brass keys with easy-to-handle grip.Versions available with high-security “PALLADIUM” cylinder and keys.

- sprung inox stainless steel pin, visible only when the dead-bolt is open, for removing and replacing the cylinder.

- tempered carbon steel, fixing screws (with Torx mark), to ensure easy and safe assembly on various construction materials (even concrete and masonry) without using plugs;
- inox stainless steel anti-tampering balls, to be used after installation to prevent access to the fixing screws head;
- black rubber seal, to protect the hole made on the roller shutter from scratches;
- drilling template.
