COMPACT electric strikers
Compact electric strikes have suitable dimensions for being applied to narrow PVC or aluminium profiles. They can be used with mortise door locks, even those already installed. The strikes are supplied separately with the possibility to request the front plates separately, based on specific requirements. Thanks to the symmetry of the latch housing, the strikes are perfectly reversible, without modifying the recess in the door jamb (which does not need housing for the movement of the larch housing), and can be immediately used on both right and left hand doors.

vertical in the door jamb.

- Functions:
(alternatives according to the selected code):
- fail secure with permanent opening (with external hold open device): once the electric impulse is transmitted, the strike is ready for opening. It will only reset after the door has been opened and then closed; it is therefore suitable for use with door-closers and/or automation systems;
- fail secure with continuous pulse: the lock opens only when electric impulse and manual or automatic pressure are applied simultaneously. It is therefore not advisable to use it with a doorcloser and/or unsuitable automation systems;
- fail safe: if there is a power failure, the electric strike unblocks itself (only for item 7653.700).
- "Dogging device" lever:
possibility to manually keep the lock always open, if required (only for fail secure versions).
- Coil:
power supply on impulse (fail secure); or always powered (fail safe).
- Power supply:
standard 6-14V AC or DC with maximum absorption of 1160 mA in AC or 1650 mA in DC. The fail safe versions can only be powered at 12V DC with 290 mA absorption.
- Structure:
zamak with stainless steel cover.
- Front plate (supplied separately):
straight, brass- or nickel-plated steel, fitted with slots for interchangeability with the front plates of the most common electric strikes.
- Latch housing:
adjustable 2 mm and resistant to pressure caused by the door seals.
- Packaging:
single box.
- On request:
stainless steel short and long straight front plate (replace the last two figures of the front plate item code with .57).
